Sunday 1st March 2026, Race Start: 9.30am
Hedge End, Eastleigh and Itchen are hosting the 7th race of the CC6 Season at Itchen Valley Country Park, Allington Lane, West End, Southampton, SO30 3HQ.
Parking will be at the site – it is a ticketed barrier on entry, and you will need to pay for parking at a machine before exiting. Please car share as much as possible and follow marshal instructions. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE VERGES OR ON ALLINGTON LANE.
Cakes and water will be provided at the finish, please bring your own cups / water bottles. Flags and tents will be pitched on the field, but it will be very muddy! There are toilets on the event field and by the cafe, which will be open by the end of your run.
The course is approximately 4.7 miles long and a mixture of forest/woodland paths and grass. Some sections will be very muddy and trail shoes are definitely advised. The start and finish is at the flag on the map, and the route is one large loop (Purple) followed by 1 Medium loop (Red). Please listen to marshal instructions as there will be occasional areas that are narrow, or slippery.

We will be using parkrun barcodes to automate results processing, see details on the CC6 website. Please bring your parkrun barcode on the day. If any runners are not yet registered then they need to do this here
Spectators are welcome, including spectator dogs but please note dogs are not allowed on the bridal paths and please observe instructions provided on signage at the park.
Lastly, please remind your runners NO HEADPHONES….
