Sunday 18th January 2026, Race Start: 9.30am
Netley, Stubbington, and Hamwic are hosting the 5th race of the CC6 Season at Itchen Valley Country Park, Allington Lane, West End, Southampton, SO30 3HQ. Parking will be at the site. It is a ticketed barrier on entry, and you will need to pay for parking at a machine before exiting. Please car share as much as possible.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE VERGES OR ON ALLINGTON LANE.
The start and finish are on the field at the end of the road by the play park and near Go Ape. There are toilets available here. Cakes and water will be provided at the finish (please bring your own cups / water bottles) and flags and tents can be pitched here.
The course is approximately 7.6km/4.75 miles long and is a mixture of forest / woodland paths and grass. Some sections will be muddy and slippery and there will be roots to be aware of so trail shoes are advised. The start and finish is at point A on the map. The route comprises one small loop of the forest trail (labelled Vocus Copse) that is around the side and back of the start field, and then 2 laps of the rest of the course around High Hills and the reservoir. Please listen to marshal instructions as there will be gates, occasional areas that are narrow and some short but slippery bridges.
We will be using parkrun barcodes to automate results processing, see details on the CC6 website. Please bring your parkrun barcode on the day.
Spectators are welcome, including spectators’ dogs – please note dogs are not allowed on the bridal paths, and please observe instructions provided on signage at the park.
